Decisions, Decisions

I'm so bad at making decisions. If you are a close friend you already know this about me....I hem and haw, ask EVERYONE what they think or what they would do, read all the books and then, of course, procrastinate the actual making of the decision. I much prefer to just not make the decision at all and just take what comes. Another favorite tactic to get out of making a decision is to get Russ to decide for me....sometimes he's a willing participant but more often than not he sees right through me and makes me decide on my own.

This is not a good way to be if you are a parent. There are so many decisions, big and little, to be made everyday and they effect not just you but the one person in the whole world that you love more than anything in the world.

The decisions lately include whether or not to work while Evan is little, if I should work full time or part time; in education or in something else. Also, this tiny apartment is NOT going to do it for much longer so we need to decide if we should move, when we should move, why we should move and to where we should move.

We've been talking about all this a bit. The good news is that we have the luxury to use my favorite method of decision making...don't and just see what comes. That's one really good thing about squeezing into this tiny apartment -- it gives us the time and financial flexibility to figure out life. Or at least a few parts of the next chapter.

Yeah, know how you feel...I hate making decisions too (but Josh hates it even more, so guess who still has to???) Hope the decisions (or lack thereof) come without a problem at the right time. (you could move this direction! Jasmine would love a buddy!) :)
