Growing

We spent a few hours this evening at a concert on the commons. There was a 1-month-old baby. She weighs as much as Evan did at around that age. He really has grown. This seems to depress Sarah more than me. We ran into a bunch of friends.

Right now I'm sitting up with Evan so that mom can rest. She has earplugs in because our tenants have a slightly different definition of some words in the English language. Like: "too late" or "stomping" or "inconsiderate level of noise late at night." In any case here I am at 2AM. I might even sneak in a bottle feeding so she can sleep. Shhh...

I saw War of the Worlds last night. Otherwise we're mostly burning through episodes of House on Netflix. I'm also messing around with a few jazz tunes on the piano. Maybe I can be a mildly competent improviser before I get too old.

My sister is going to be an animal-training superstar in NYC. I'm so proud of my family all the time. I'm playing piano at a wedding rehearsal tomorrow, only problem is I don't have a piano. I think there's one at the HS I can borrow? Edge of the seat stuff, this is.
