I've been enjoying my pre-mobile baby as much as I can. Every time I plop him down surrounded by toys to run to the bathroom or pop a bagel in the toaster I think..."enjoy this while it lasts". Although several of Evan's contemporaries (read: babies within a few weeks of his age) are already crawling and climbing, I have not been jealous but grateful. Well...all of that will be over very soon.
Evan is doing all kinds of fun things of late. His precrawl repertoire includes: 1)reaching for a toy and falling over from sitting into a crawl position for a second before he falls onto his belly 2) after being placed on all fours he'll sway front to back like he's revving up to go somewhere. 3) when on his belly he'll push himself on his hands and eventually move BACKWARDS All very exciting to watch
He's also clapping! All the time. We have video of all of this but I have no idea how to post it here. I'll try to figure it out.

No pressure - but we're (okay, I'm) eagerly awating new Evan photos/videos. He's got to be getting into stuff by now!!!
